A lot of these checklists become unwieldy and cumbersome at times, especially for GA pilots just looking to go putter around in the practice area. (Things like PAVE and IMSAFE are great, some of the other checklists are several pages long.) However, I feel that just knowing that they exist is useful in itself. On a more complicated flight, or if I'm not sure what type of decision to make, these more complicated checklists might help.
Recommended for pilots working on their decision-making skills, or for anybody studying for a CFI or Ground Instructor knowledge test. (
