This book is a great book to read at the beginning of the school year or many times throughout the school year. The author word choice is very intental and gives teachers the oppurtunity to build childrens vocaublary. Although, I would consider this book to be fantasy, I think this book has a lot elements that children could relate to. In the sense of, the main character using a very loud voice. I think this book would be very entertaining to read during a read aloud and would grad the attention of all students because of the authors word choice and the use of illustrations. This is a great story that can be read many times through the school year to focus on different learning strategies. The author used the vocabulary in this book very intentional. The author purposely used certain world to help build vocabulary for young readers. This book also contains many elements of fantasy students can find interest in. For example, someones voice cannot be so loud that it breaks free hogs and cattle. Also, some of the animals in the story talk and tell him to hush. I think this book would engage all readers because of the use of word choice and the lively illustrations. Holler Loudly has gotten into trouble his whole life for talking too loud. Tired of being kicked out of places, he decides to try listening and being quiet. When a tornado is threatening the town, Holler uses his big voice to break it up and save everyone. Holler learns when to use his big voice and when to use his quiet voice. Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
