Rebecca Solnit writes extensively on photography and landscape. She is a contributing editor to Art Issues and Creative Camera and is the author of three books. Exzellentes Buch!

"Die Welt entspricht nicht länger den Maßstäben unserer Körper, sondern dennen unserer Maschinen, und viele benötigen die Maschinen - oder meinen Sie zu benötigen -, um sich schnell genug durch diesen Raum zu bewegen."

Wer sich mit Sätzen wie diesen anfreunden kann und sich gerne zu Fuß bewegt, bekommt in Rebecca Solnits kurzweiligem Werk den ideologischen Überbau dazu.
