This is the book my mother used to make Chinese food when I was growing up. Not an easy task for a very non-Chinese family, but the recipes in this book made her Chinese food taste better than the dining out! I still use this book to make the perfect rice and dimsim and stir fry!

The gardening editor of the Garden Guides, published by The Australian Women's Weekly, describes Bulbs as "ready-made flowers squeezed into a convenient package." This material is thorough, and is particularly detailed in right-climatizing the bulb choices. The authors photograph and describe the requirements of over 150 varieties of bulbs, corms, tubers and rhizomes. The differences make little difference except for identification. With Index.
