Hunter is a billionaire who's been betrayed by Dominic Bianchi and almost sent to prison. Bianchi wants to be governor, and Hunter stands in his way, but he also needs Hunter's money. Hunter devises a scheme for revenge and, as a first step, marries Bianchi's daughter, Luna. Luna is in love with someone else but is forced to agree to her father's wishes.
The book has some good twists, but too many sex scenes interrupt the actual story, in my opinion. I think I'm just tired of the graphic stuff that doesn't add to the plot and seems to just be there to pad the book out.

Knight Greyson has a chance to take over the empire his grandfather has built, but it comes with some stipulations and one of those is that he acquire Sunset Cove. Knight is meticulous when it comes to business, he knows every angle and every person that stands in his way and he easily removes them from the situation, so it’s no surprise when he gets his way. Aurora is sweet and hardworking trying to find her footing in her writing but wanting to renovate her mother’s resort, but when her father is in trouble and her only way to save him is through an arranged marriage to Knight her whole life changes. Knight and Aurora are complete opposites that want different things out of life and while she isn’t afraid to stand her ground to Knight he has a way to throw her off her axis. Knight fights his attraction to Aurora in all ways possible but there is something about her that keeps drawing him to her. They both have secrets that haunt them and things that could destroy them both, but will they find a way to hep each other or will they end up destroying themselves in the process? A good story with a lot of angst that keeps you glued and the family dynamic of Knight’s has you sympathize with him but also wanting him to set his ego aside and see what’s right in his face.

Candace totally ruined this one for me. I know it's fiction but it has to make just a bit of sense to be entertaining. She did NOTHING that made any sense. She made the WORST decisions when she had all the help she could ever need to solve her problems. Ended up skimming quite a bit of this one.

This is a wonderful anthology, with something for everyone's taste. I cannot review all of the stories, so here's three chosen (almost) at random:
Marie Skye's 'I Still Hate You'. I really wanted to like this story and in the end I did, but I have to say that at the beginning, with the complicated history between Ash and Perrie I found it hard going.
Maria Ann Green's 'Once Upon That Time He Was Stuck in the Friend Zone' is a friends-to-lovers about Colton and Emma. An interesting story, well-written with a good supporting cast. The likeable protagonists devastate one another, but in the end…There is a thing about Colt's nickname for Emma and in the end it will make you cry.
Dakota Davies' 'Falling for My Fling'. I'm a big fan of Davies and bought this book to read this story and it doesn’t disappoint - except it isn't a HEA - yet. The great outdoors is important to this author; she has written about swimming, zip-lining, rock-climbing and here it's rafting. Lori is working at a summer school while waiting to go to Stanford. She meets Caleb, who works for his family's rafting company and who is known for his frequent, short-term hook-ups. There is a lot of background angst for both protagonists which makes their feelings for one another all the more sweet.

Awesome read! The revenge theme also helped spice things up, and that was an aspect I really enjoyed.

Alex and Summer electrify with their instant chemistry. Their breaking all the rules and loving every minute of it. The Rules of Attraction is my introduction to Khardine Gray. She strikes a match with her naughty brand of humorous heart and intense fireworks.

REVIEW: “For eleven years I stored her away in the back of my memory. The enchantment of this woman who could reach a place inside me where no one else could.” This book has so much potential. The setting and plot are captivating. The attraction is intense between sexy Tai and fragile yet determined Phoebe. However, Tai’s reluctance to end his previous relationship seemed a little off. Trying to build relationships when none of them could be honest with each other became tedious. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. This is my voluntary review.

DESCRIIPTION, NOT REVIEW: When I was 18 he stole my heart.
Tai was the guy I wasn’t supposed to have…
The tattooed rebel my mother told to stay away from me.
My heart stopped beating that day.
I was off- limits to him and he was forbidden to me.
I never thought I’d see him again.
He stayed away, just like my mother demanded.

Until… fate decided to hand us an all access card eleven years later. Leaving it to us to work out the kinks.
We got to see what could have happened if we got together.
Then it became complicated….
The passion and heat between us is wild.
Scorching hot and consuming.
He wants more. So much more…
But I can't give him more…
This time it’s not my mother telling me I can’t have him.
It’s life …
Because … now I have a secret.
A secret that could tear us apart.
