Hunter is a billionaire who's been betrayed by Dominic Bianchi and almost sent to prison. Bianchi wants to be governor, and Hunter stands in his way, but he also needs Hunter's money. Hunter devises a scheme for revenge and, as a first step, marries Bianchi's daughter, Luna. Luna is in love with someone else but is forced to agree to her father's wishes.
The book has some good twists, but too many sex scenes interrupt the actual story, in my opinion. I think I'm just tired of the graphic stuff that doesn't add to the plot and seems to just be there to pad the book out.… (mehr)

Aurora is sweet and hardworking trying to find her footing in her writing but wanting to renovate her mother’s resort, but when her father is in trouble and her only way to save him is through an arranged marriage to Knight her whole life changes. Knight and Aurora are complete opposites that want different things out of life and while she isn’t afraid to stand her ground to Knight he has a way to throw her off her axis. Knight fights his attraction to Aurora in all ways possible but there is something about her that keeps drawing him to her. They both have secrets that haunt them and things that could destroy them both, but will they find a way to hep each other or will they end up destroying themselves in the process? A good story with a lot of angst that keeps you glued and the family dynamic of Knight’s has you sympathize with him but also wanting him to set his ego aside and see what’s right in his face.… (mehr)
