Leslie Kaul (1958–2006)

This is a great cookbook. Every recipe we've tried has worked, producing yummy soup with little or no modification on our part. The soups are not fast food by any means, but they're not incredibly finicky to prepare, and they have deep rich interesting tastes. Definitely the first book we turn to for soup.
