I think I got this for free or .99 and it ended up being better than I expected. Fluff for sure, but sometimes that's what I want since I do a lot of reading in bed when I'm so tired I can barely follow a plot line. I will check out more in the series.

This first in an older series is excellent! Snappy, witty writing with a fast paced mystery. The author does an excellent job with setting and characterisations. It's a series I enjoy returning to again and again.

Not quite as good as the first book, Brilliant, in this series but lots of fun and a quick read. Middle aged retired cat-burglar goes back to work to maintain her reputation and catch a copycat burglar. Kit is very smart, sophisticated, a gourmet cook, and stylish so her quick conclusion that her husband had left her seemed really silly to me.

Fun read. Woman "of a certain age" is an executive assistant at an auction house during the day and a cat burglar by night. From very humble beginnings, she turned into a cultured, sophisticated woman who knows about jewelry, antiques, paintings, wine and gourmet cooking.
