Joe Nassise is an American writer and the author of several novels, including the internationally bestselling Templar Chronicles trilogy (HERETIC, A SCREAM OF ANGELS, A TEAR IN THE SKY) , as well as a fiction collection (SPECTRES AND DARKNESS) and assorted short stories found in such works as MASQUES V, CHTHULIAN SINGULARITY, and LOST ON THE DARKSIDE.

He is a former president of the Horror Writers Association, the world’s largest organization of professional horror writers, a two time Bram Stoker Award and International Horror Guild Award nominee, and a life and creativity coach.

Born and raised in Boston, he currently lives in Arizona.

Woohoo Urban Fantasy!

Zwanzig Autoren, zehn Geschichten - da passt was nicht? Doch, wenn jeweils zwei Autoren ihre Figuren in eine gemeinsame Geschichte verwickeln.

Das gelingt hier sehr gut. Ich kenne die Mehrzahl der Autoren und der Urban-Fantasy-Welten nicht, unterhaltsam waren sie dennoch alle.

Am Besten gefallen hat mit - wenig überraschend - Larry Correia und John Maberrys "Weaponized Hell", war Correia doch derjenige, der mich auf diese Anthologie aufmerksam gemacht hat.

Nassise und Sam Witt werfen ebenfalls gut bewaffnete Kämpfertypen in die Schlacht gegen das Böse, letzteres in Form von dämonischen Schweinen! Die beiden Serien werde ich mir durchaus mal genauer anschauen. Bei manch anderen bin ich mir noch nicht so sicher, wobei zumindest Joanne Walker sollte sich auch noch mal auf meiner Leseliste einfinden.
