This is a fun book for examining synonyms. Monsters mosey, lurch, march, clomp, stomp, strut, prance, and “sneak. The text encourages children to mimic these ways of moving with their bodies.

I appreciated that they used actual images and photographs of the moon to show the different phases of the moon. They also used relatively simple language which was helpful when using in the classroom. I like how the author discussed the rotation of the moon and the use of sunlight. This book also offered a glossary which I found helpful as well.
