I really enjoyed this book for a few reasons. The language was patterned, written in poem form. The writing flows with each sentence and the topic. The charactars were believable and well developed as they spoke about Valentine’s Day. The plot was very organized as well as the illustrations, showing the Valentine's day candy, crafts, and friends. The illustrations spoke for the poem as well, showing very interesting pictures regarding the crafts. I enjoyed this book because I felt as if it explained the key points in Valentine’s Day using love, friendship and crafts. The big message was to show children how important it is to show love and how many different ways it can be used, especially on Valentine's Day. Also, the story explained to children how Valentine's Day can be for your friends as well, not just a family member or other.… (mehr)
