Nobody has posted on here since August. Where are all the Koontz fans? Are you still out there?

The last Koontz book I read was Frankenstein : Lost Souls, book 4 of the series. Will probably read Lightning in the near future.

The first time I tried to read the Frankenstine series I didn't like it. My librarian was surprised. I picked it up again and could not put it down until I had read the whole series. I loved it!

I sm not a big fan of the Frankentein series. It has actually turned me away from Koontz. He is trying to many alter ego's. Odd, what others is he going to create. I hate to say it but Stephen King is looking better every day.

Since Koontz has finished his Frankenstine series maybe he will get on with Odd. Did you know that there is a movie in the making of Odd Thomas? It's on his website you should check it out.

I have my copy of The Dead Town and can't wait to start on it but first I have to finish The Priest's Graveyard bt Ted Dekker, which by the way is a very good book! Has anyone else started on the new Frankenstein book?

Dean Koontz is my all time favorite author....there too many to really put a finger for which book i like the best, i'm not real hot on the good husband, it made me think it was written quickly, and without as much thought as he put into most of his other books. But all in all, i still read it because he is after all.......Dean Koontz

Hi, I'm a Koontz fan as well. Also pretty new to LibraryThing. I've only read a few of his books, but I loved them. Which would you guys recommend most?

That depends on what sort of style you enjoy most. Personally I think his best writing is in the titles where he includes a lot of snarky humor, like Tick Tock and Odd Thomas and Life Expectancy.

I have just got Breathless out of the library but, so far, nothing beats Odd Thomas. I'll put Tick Tock and Life Expectancy on my wish list.Thanks.

If you love Odd Thomas you'll for sure love Life Expectancy, it's very similar except with a different cast (and no ghosts :P). Tick Tock he wrote after one of his really heavy ones and just needed to do something fun & lighthearted, and it's a blast. It's shorter than his normal, with all sorts of outrageous stuff, but he just makes it work. :))
