{spoiler alert!}
(edited) I just re-read this book and I have some things to add. This is a wonderful book, and I certainly recommend it! However, the back-cover blurb is seriously misleading, and it really threw me off for awhile the first time I read it. The last sentence on the blurb states "Now Nora wants revenge-and she's capable of evil beyong anything Margo could have ever dreamed". I'm sorry, but that sounds like a set-up for a really awesome ride! Right? Riiiiight?
Wrong. Nora is not, in any way shape or form, more evil then Margo. She goes behind Margo's back to speed up the plans and take her "rightful place", sure, but evil? Heck no. She does nothing truly evil... Even when she murders "Jessica", there is nothing to indicate that she is more evil then Margo. And then when she finds out that it was really Margo that she killed, instead of lashing out or going crazy, she totally breaks down.
I loved the book, but I had geared myself up for an evil stronger/deeper then Margo (which is saying alot, 'cause wow!), and that was completely not there at all. ( )
