Ruthie Knox's eBook original serial, Roman Holiday, continues in Episode 2, as Ashley and Roman flee an oncoming hurricane by hitting the highway--only to encounter some outrageous bumps in the road.   Roman Díaz isn't thrilled about being forced to evacuate Ashley Bowman from the Florida Keys--and that's before he sees the decrepit Airstream trailer she wants to hook up to his shiny new Escalade. Ashley's in way over her head, and the only way she knows to beat Roman is to get some help from a friend . . . in Georgia. She can put up with Roman's fury at the unexpected detour, no problem. It's the bizarre thrum of attraction between them that she could do without. And yet there's something about being hitched to Roman that makes Ashley never want to let go. Praise for Roman Holiday   "A new episode every week? I am so down with that!"--No Book Left Behind   "Knox has a particular talent of making you love her characters right from the very beginning of the story."--Under the Covers   Praise for Ruthie Knox   "A great new voice in contemporary romance . . . hilarious, heartfelt, and hot."--New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristan Higgins   "Knox writes incredible romance."--RT Book Reviews   "I'll read anything by Ruthie Knox--her books are always sexy, funny, beautifully poignant, and honest."--Molly O'Keefe, bestselling author of Crazy Thing Called Love   "One of the reasons I so like [Ruthie Knox's] work is because [her] heroines are women I personally can relate to."--Dear Author… (mehr)

Hitched by Ruthie Knox is the second in a set of five serial novels about Roman and Ashley. There is another set of five novels that will be released at a later date giving us a holiday from our Holiday!

So the stoic Roman has given his word to get Ashley to her friend's place. Only to find out that this "Place" is in Georgia almost 600 miles away. He's horrified to have to put the Airstream on the back of his beloved Cadillac, but he does. Is this not-so-hateful side of him just Ashley's imagination or is she starting to see some redeeming qualities underneath his surly, greedy, bulldozing persona?

I love the introductions to these stories! Ruthie is writing to US at the beginning of each book, reminding us of whats past and gleefully hinting at what is to come. It's such a pleasure to read this woman's books!

So - Short, fun and interesting. If you have an aversion to serial novels then wait till all parts are released and do yourself a favor and read it anyway. Well worth it! ( )
