I received an email informing me that I would be receiving an Early Reviewers copy but never received it. ( )Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Early Reviewers geschrieben. I had to DNF this one. The plot was way too slow and meandering for me. The vague references to the main character's mysterious past and just the writing style in general really turned me off. I thought that the plot sounded interesting and was initially very excited to read this but halfway through it really doesn't feel like it's going anywhere.Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Early Reviewers geschrieben. The description caught my attention, so I put in to receive this book as an early review. It's not my usual genre, but it rewarded my venture out. The writing style was enjoyable to read and the events unusual. I gave it a four only because I could put it down. Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Early Reviewers geschrieben. I got this book for free from LibraryThing's Early Reviewers.Really not my kind of book, though it sounded like it would be. It was way too religious for my taste. It mentioned a pastor in the blurb, but I've read many books about religion that weren't as preachy as this was at times. Even if you take the overly religious aspect out of the book, I don't think it would have interested me. I just wasn't captivated by the characters at all. I didn't really care about them or what happened to them, which makes reading the book more like a chore. Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Early Reviewers geschrieben. Tulsa police investigator Kenny Elliot can't resign. Then a failed crime turns into an accident initiating several unsolved crimes. He cannot ignore all this either. Stay or leave?... indecision is never resolved. The detective disregards personal wants; slogging through. Readers slog along. One coincidence brings another. Halfway in, zombies appear changing genre entirely. Three quarters on, finally, it's about mind-control (villainy by-proxy). Somewhat interesting albeit slow, disjointed, meandering and commercial.Digital Edition. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
