If it's been a while since you listened to any of the others, go back and listen again. You'll need to. Everything connects and is very intricate and convoluted. In a good way. The whole "never trust anyone" thing is still in place and I found it a bit tiring and repetitive in this one. I just let it go, but it was a piece of grit under my enjoyment of the series knowing that people are almost never what they seem. As usual the audio production was excellent - the soundscape, the sound design and foley are pretty high end. Acting good except that I suspect the woman who plays Kennedy is English because she uses a few words and phrases that Americans would never use. Her accent is good though.

This one has a more finished feel although with this series you know the new case that is hinted at will tie to the whole story. I'm very glad no romantic shenanigans have been breached and that Kennedy & Matthew are just still friends and colleagues. There's enough to keep track of without interrupting the narrative flow with some make out scene. ( )
