Messy, creative Bess is perfectly happy creating her paintings in her out-of- the-way studio, never worrying about what the other fairies think. But after she unveils a new portrait of Tinker Bell, she finds herself in a whirlwind of attention. Every sparrow man and fairy in Pixie Hollow wants her to paint his or her picture! With hundreds of fairies to please, suddenly Bess's talent seems more like a chore than a joy!

Loved this series as a child, cute short little book. Once again, the setting of Neverland/Pixie Hollow is wonderful.
The book was written by Amy Vincent

I couldn't put it down, I was fully into the mystery of the house and it even scared me a little bit.
It was way better than I expected.

Splat gets nervous about the homework assigned the first day of school. How could he possibly find just one thing to pick to talk about that was great over the summer break. After much stressing, Splat realizes the best thing about summer break was his little sister.

I liked this book because of the art. The pictures were familiar because I have seen the movie. I feel that the reader will find it familiar if they have seen the movie. The other reason I liked the art was because the cool color pallet allows it to have a magical feeling. I also liked the plot because people, just like Cinderella, get bullied. "I will never go to the ball", which allows the reader to empathize. I also like the plot because it has been told so many different ways because it is a traditional literature story. The main message of the story is that you never know what will happen in your life you need to just believe.

In the begining of the book she gets locked in a bathroom and her twin sister comes to life and she does not even know it. In the middle of the book she finds out that she has someone that is following her around everywhere. At the end she tries to find ways to get her twin sister away from her because she is always following her around and is making her do bad choices.I really likes this book beacuse it was very intertaning and it was like a kids book but and teens book.½

The Christmas Bandit is a book about how Christmas can be ruined when someone is being a little too greedy and needs to realize that Christmas is more about giving than receiving.

I am a fan of this series, and it is not for the writing (which is just mediocre), but for the combination of book and CD that adds another dimension to the reading experience. However, in this particular book, I was just put off by the story itself and it detracted from the audio enjoyment. The book is a retelling of the Tangled short, where Flynn and Rapunzel get married. Since the cartoon actually follows the exploits of Max and Pascal in their slapstick routine of trying to retrieve the wedding rings in time for the ceremony, so does the book. I find the whole narrative boring. To be fair, I also thought the cartoon on the dull side, and a disappointment to the excellent movie that inspired it. Despite the enhancement of the CD, this is probably my least favorite of all the read along books we bought recently.

So I saw this on the shelf and thought the cover was really cute. I was expecting it to be a slightly younger Monster High...I was very wrong, lol. Now I am not the biggest fraidy cat in the world but I do occasionally get creeped out, particularly at night. Well this book totally gave me the heebie jeebies. I ended up having to stay up to read something silly, lol.

I can't tell if the series focuses on the same group of friends or a school but I don't think it focuses on the same girl. This is a great ghost story, about two girls living in the same house forty years apart. There are creepy weird things that happen in the house and I do feel like one part of the story is just never fully resolved but that is part of what makes it a good ghost story too.
