Quite an interesting book: truly a mystery story as well as based upon an almost mythical and mysterious artist. For Charles Dellschau the Sonora Aero Club was a metaphor for his world of aeronautical fantasies.

Adroit use of flashbacks keeps the story flowing over its 60-year time span. Many editorial issues but still a worthwhile read from this UK author of a mystery series that I will pursue.½

Pursuit by Chris Crowther is a murder mystery set in 1926, except for the flashbacks to WWI when he’s flying. Very interesting & intriguing from the start with some dodgy characters & other people the main character meets. It kept me reading cause I was eager to find out who was the culprit. If you love aviation & a good story you’ll love this book!
