This was supposed to be a hot, steamy, erotica and promising book.
I'm afraid it felt short my expectations...
The plot was really thin, the language too blunt, the characters so flat.

With Dante and Lauren, Ms. Donahue sets to building a legacy of positivity. Lauren and Dante are different, but yet the same. He's a tattoo artist, with an eye for beauty and a body full of art. She's an insecure sweetheart with body image issues and a beautiful soul. Both are outsiders, searching for a place to belong. Unfortunately, this book and I got off on the wrong foot. From the first interaction between Diana and Tristan, their dynamic felt creepy and off -- him holding her down and telling her she wants this while she insists she doesn't. To see something nonconsensual depicted as hot, that's a dealbreaker for me. Add to that the descriptions that made me cringe and... yeah, this book was not for me.
