Although it is a style of art I am not completely comfortable with, I think the artist does a remarkable job expressing his thoughts and emotions through his work. My daughter's friends who are very into tattoos, found the book fascinating.

What stood out to me most about the layout of the sketchbook is that it felt like reading a picture journal expressing the artist life and history, loves and hates, even dreams in the inked pages. It created a personal passage through what would otherwise be just another tattoo collection on paper.

Each piece was great to see considering I'm Hispanic and even in our cultures there were many different aspects to Sugar Skulls or Day of the Dead and other pieces.
Wish the book had more detailed explanation on each piece but again an illustrative book.
As a Tattoo enthusiast would really love him to draw me my own Sugar Piece for my next tattoo.
