I liked the premise. But this story has so many problems. The characters were two dimensional, there was surprisingly no actual death despite an earthquake so massive it caused the city to be detached from the mainland. There was lots of narrative that read like passages from a prepper handbook as well as references to multiple government agencies that didn't actually do anything. Disappointing.
