I was given Order of the Dimensions for and honest review by Irene Helenowski

Jane is a graduate student working on a dimensional gateway at Madison State University and has made herself a dimensional leap frog. As she leaps from dimension to dimension she discovers a conspiracy ran by Dr. Anton Zelov who is apparently her husband in a few of those dimensions. Now she and some of her colleagues are apparently in a race to retrieve the Order of Dimensions and prevent it from landing in the bad guy’s hands.

When I was asked to read Order of the Dimensions, I had decided to check it out carefully because I don’t usually read much sci-fi (except Star Trek and a few erotic romance) even though I love watching sci-fi. When I went to Amazon and checked out the preview that they allow us to read I was able to get into those beginning snippet and agreed to give it ago in reading for the review. Now that I am 21% into this book I am not so into it and I am sorry for that as it is well written up to the point I have gotten so edits don’t seem to be an issue in the complete reading of this book. I am getting motion sick from the dimensional jumps and constant change in dynamics leading me to the opinion that this story just isn’t for me and needs a reader that is a sci-fi reader and will truly get into and enjoy this book. Giving this book a rating seems very unfair since I only read 21% of it and it is going into the “I could not get into list” so no rating will be given and I hope the author much success for her series with those who will appreciate and enjoy reading it.

Jane is a university student involved in the development of the Multiverser, a machine capable of sending objects or people to parallel universes. When she demonstrates the device to Dr. Anton Zelov, little does she know that the dark Russian plans to use it to achieve world domination, and Jane has no choice but to travel to different dimensions to try to stop him.

First, I should say that I am not a big science-fiction fan, and this might have contributed to the fact that I didn’t really enjoy this book. Unfortunately, the only positive comment I have about Order of the Dimensions is that it has an original concept. I found the story sometimes confusing, especially with all the jumping to other dimensions. I also felt that the narrative was too rushed. In fact, it could have used more details and descriptions, particularly for the action scenes. In addition, many inconsistencies appeared throughout the book. One in particular bothered me: how come Jane never encounters herself in the other dimensions, except for once? Furthermore, there were a lot of spelling and formatting errors (for example, there was no chapter 17 but two chapters 18). Finally, repetitions of several words, most notably “henchmen”, distracted the reader from the story. While Order of the Dimensions had a lot of potential, it unfortunately missed the mark.

Order of the Dimensions was sent to me for free in exchange for an honest review.

The third book in the series and just had to read this immediately after finishing book 2. You can read my reviews on book 1 here and book 2 here

Things get worse, power creates a darker vicious controller, Anton is now President and completely out of control. The Order discards certain dimensions on a whim leaving them non existent, these null dimensions are where anyone caught breaking the law would be sent or even their parents. We also learn of red dimensions - forced labour and forced to live in slum like conditions. Anton and The Order were becoming ruthless and cruel in everything they did and you certainly see the darker side as you read.

How on earth was all this going to end? What would it take? It is down to one person who has to make the biggest decision of their life, especially when their current life is happy and they are completely unaware of what a loved one is really capable of in other dimensions, until they are shown.....

More of a story line in this book than the chase in the second book but don't expect the pace to slow down, you may be flicking back to check things out and keeping up with this amazing author. You connect with the characters feeling their pain, grief and sadness. Although it's hard to believe you even feel for Anton when you read about his sadness.

I would suggest reading all the books in order to really get a tight grip of who is who and the full background of the story to really enjoy the final book to an awesome series.

I couldn't wait to start this book especially since I was so engrossed with the first book in the series which you can read my review here

The power struggle continues as Anton Zelov continues to crave revenge, power and world domination. Behind it all is the most powerful black box to be invented, called the multiverser, which can be used to travel into other dimensions of life, where you life and everything about it is completely different and is lived by your 'alter'. Only now the scientists have invented ways to change co-ordinates and more worryingly without the user knowing in certain circumstances.

Jane, who loves her sweetheart Randy is also the love of infactuated Anton's life. As she celebrates her latest achievements she is encouraged by her colleague to take a short trip in the multiverser but little did she know that Anton would hijack it and take her to another dimension where she is no longer married to Ritchie with two lovely children. She is now Anton's nanny with no knowledge of her previous life.

When Randy realises, the cat and mouse chase begins, in and out of numerous dimensions, different lives and scenarios. Will Randy and the Federation finally be able to stop the viciously clever and sneaky Anton and rescue Jane?

Yet again the author has baffled me with how she puts this all together and manages to keep on top of it to keep the story interesting and alive. I did have to flick back a few times to keep up myself but that's the beauty of being involved in the chase. I found myself looking forward to every moment available to read more and the short chapters didn't help when trying to put the book down.

I would definitely recommend reading the first book, Order of the Dimensions, first as it's a great introduction to the fantastic characters in the wonderful storyline.
