What can I say this was a short and steamy Christmas read. I don’t have a ton to say other than it was a marvelous spicy Christmas read. It’s super light on plot but heavy on the spicy scenes. The book has some humor thrown in. I really enjoyed the story… however I’m mad because now I gotta read the others to see how things wind up haha. I mean you can read just this one but it’s kinda open ended. This is probably one of the best spicy Christmas stories I’ve read this year.… (mehr)

I have yet to read a book by Dana that I did not fall in love with.

I loved the back and forth between Niko and Izabela. I loved how she knew what she wanted, and she went after it.

And I fucking loved it, when Niko thought they were found out at the gym by her dad. I laughed so hard, at the idea of this big brawler being afraid cause him and his bosses daughter (adult daughter) got it on.

But, what I really enjoyed, is how the book really was about Niko and Izabela, not the mafia, not really there family, etc. It was about them trying to figure out who and what they are, while things just go to shit around them. How Niko, got to see Izabela as a strong woman, who will inherit this whole operation, and how she is just as dark as he is. I loved that. I loved the human aspect of all of it.

The spicy was wonderful, the fight scenes were great, and the overall story and plot were wonderful. I highly suggest reading this one. Even if you have not read the three books that are about Izabela’s parents. You get enough info to understand everything.

This is a ARC review and may have spoilers.

I have loved every story so far in the One Night Series, but Pyro's I have loved the most. From the moment we meet all the guys in Games We Play, I wanted to know more about Pyro.. And Dana did not let me down.

I do suggest reading all the books before this, they are all currently on KU.

Just like with the other books, there are elements of BDSM and in this story, they even go to a sex club. A much better one than I have ever went to.

Anyway... In Burdens We Carry, we find out that Pyro and Owen have been more than just friends, for quite a while. And neither one wants to tell the other one that it is also more than just physical.

In Desires We Seek, Owen and Aurora ask Pyro to join them. Not just for the one night, but in a shared relationship with each other. One in which the three of them can love, grow and be happy with each other.

During their time at the sex club, they explore each other, their kinks, their wants, and the love that was there before Owen was forced to get married.

I enjoyed how Dana allowed Pyro and Owen to be open with their feelings, wants, needs and desires for each other, and for Aurora. Dana does a magnificent job of pulling you into the story and you can feel their emotions as if they are your own.

I highly recommend giving this a read.
