Science Fiction is not exactly universally praised for the depth of its characters, but strangely and although I'm usually not a fan of alternating viewpoints, in this novel I fell in love with all of them. The cast is charming with distinct personalities and quirks and thrown into a heist where they're very fast very far in over their heads. Fast and furious pacing, with great villains and antagonists and a lot of technobabble that partly seems dated nowadays but doesn't distract from the fun. Great read!… (mehr)

Good, moved along well and kept my attention--that is, I wasn't constantly switching between this and another book or two. Nothing terribly special, in my opinion, but worth a read.

Downloaded from Feedbooks (http://www.feedbooks.com/book/1947/roo-d) and read on my Kindle.

I rated this story 4.5 Stars as I thoroughly enjoyed it and could read it again. Did find quite a few typographical errors as I read through; could stand a little clean up.

Apocalyptic stories tend to be one of my favorites, but the punk genres (steam-punk, cyberpunk) run a close second. Roo'd is a fun story with an interesting take on what will be done with tech in the near future. I was reminded of the the interesting future in 'Sisters of Glass' by D. W. St. John.

Our protagonist makes due with bilateral leg prosthesis in an age that sees body mods as common place. It has body modification, heists, hacking, chase scenes, treachery, over the top collateral damage and a most amazing antagonist. You'll never look at 'The Mouse' the same way again!

A fast read, that I kept wanting to come back to, to see what would happen next.
