I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Alex Parker is a bad boy hockey player and Charlotte "Coach" Coachman is the sports agent who's been tasked with keeping him in line. Charlotte resists her attraction to Alex because she "doesn't date clients." - especially a womanizer like Parker - but Alex is kind, sweet and patient - and flirtacious - with her and they eventually succumb to their mutual attraction. I love the banter between the two of them and their chemistry is smoking hot. This book was difficult to put down until I'd reached the end. I'll definitely be reading the rest of the Face-Off series.

Great book! You can't help but fall in love with Dean - he's absolutely devoted to Kat as both a friend and romantically. I loved that the story followed them from their first meeting, through the years of college and finally to their happily ever after. Jillian Quinn does the hockey sports romance justice - they're realistic, believable and there's enough hockey detail to satisfy a real hockey fan without taking away from the story. I am looking forward to reading the stories of all the Baldwin brothers!

I loved Ethan and Mia. What started off as a sweet, innocent childhood crush developed into a scorching affair 10 years later when Mia's brother and Ethan must stay with her while their apartment is being renovated. Mia hates Ethan because he disappeared without a word 10 years before, when they were both in high school. The reason why he left is Ethan's closely guarded secret. In close proximity, they find it impossible to resist each other as they work towards reconciling their past.

I should not have spent time reading this, but we know my brain parts aren't really into reading so that's my excuse.

But I shan't make you read a review, not make myself write a review.

But I will say her favorite wine is "Pino."

And it was generally super confusing with the flip flopping of her feeling like he'd never be attracted to her and her knowing he totally wanted her.

Oh, and he's super creepy initially. Really. Just avoid this.

Jillian Quinn scores with Prince Pucking Charming. In this story, Washington Capitals captain, Duke Baldwin, needs to attend anger management therapy after pummeling Philadelphia Flyers rookie Dean Crawford on the ice for getting his sister pregnant. He sees Dr. Delilah Devine. Her and her daughter, Max, might just be what he needs to heal. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers.

Prince Pucking Charming is a fantastic story. There are interesting ethical issues. There are league politics with Duke’s father having also been in the NHL. Duke went through a lot growing up it is understandable why he has anger issues. I love that Delilah and Max help him heal. They are a great couple making each other stronger. I appreciated that Max reminds Duke of Kat. Duke loves his sister and would do anything for the people he loves.

Prince Pucking Charming was skillfully written. It is a heartwarming and entertaining novel. I want to read Dean (Face-Off Series # 6) after reading this book. In that story, Dean gets his best friend, Kat (Duke’s sister), pregnant. The two books overlap. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Being a fan of Jillian Quinn’s Face-Off Series, I was excited that she decided to come out with the stories of the next generation of hockey players in the Face-Off Legacy Series. In this series, the sons from the Face-Off series characters, play hockey together at Strickland University.

PUCKING PARKER is about the youngest son of Alex Parker and Charlotte Coachman (Coach) Parker, Preston, and Strickland’s hockey coach’s daughter, Bexley “Bex” Bryant. The plot is about the coach’s daughter who is not supposed to date the star player. The story is cleverly written and entertaining. There are unexpected twists and interesting outcomes.

I like the similarities that Bex has with Preston’s mother, like the fact that they both play(ed) college basketball. I like that Bex challenges Preston. She treats him like she would anyone else. I like her tomboy personality, and that she speaks her mind.

I love that the characters in the Face-Off Legacy series have grown up together. They have a unique bond that makes them a family. They are all wealthy and have different obstacles to face then the normal person, primarily the pressure of living up to their parents’ success. This is especially true for Preston being the team captain.

PUCKING PARKER was an amazing start to the spin-off series. The book was hard to put down and had relevant issues. I look forward to following this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. I loved Emile, Amy not so much. Emile was the sweetest guy ever, and he did so much for her, and she did not deserve him, she made him pay for what her idiot previous boyfriend did to her, even when Emile's sister Gabrielle told her not to make Emile pay for it. Her own grandmother did not understand why she was mad at Emile. Who in their right minds, does not go after five million dollars, come on, you expect us to believe that? You are just going to be like, ok, no problem, no that is ridiculous. Then you also find out, that said boyfriend, kicks you out, and now you are homeless, broke and he gets married, the very next day, and you are going to say nothing, do nothing, and we are supposed to believe that she is a smart person, oh hell no. Then the one person that does help you Emile, gives you a shirt that actually symbolizes something to him, and you shred it!!! That was so disrespectful, you did not have to do that, to him, you reacted, but not to your ass of an ex. The only reason, that I did not give this book a two star, was because of Emile, however I sure hope that this author was not seriously trying to give us a lesson, because she failed horribly. Emile, should not have been the one penalized, for helping out a very lost person.

Jillian Quinn scores with PARKER, the first book from the Face-Off series. NHL defenseman, Alex Parker, is traded to the Philadelphia Flyers due to bad behavior. His agent, Mick Donoghue, asks his toughest employee, Charlotte Coachman (Coach), to get him out of the penalty box. Their encounters are a constant Face-Off. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult audiences.

Jillian Quinn does an admirable job with her character development. They are believable and well developed. I like Alex. He is having a difficult time dealing with his father’s death. He’s drinking too much and getting in trouble. He has a good heart. I love how he is with kids. He is persistent and needs some guidance. Charlie is an impressive heroine. She had a difficult childhood. She was an impressive college basketball player, planning on going pro, until her dreams were crushed by an injury. She becomes a successful senior sports agent, with a stellar reputation. I like that she tells it how it is. I love that she coaches youth basketball. I also appreciated her work ethic. Alex and Charlotte have great chemistry and make an intriguing couple that need each other.

I enjoyed the plot. There were a lot of complicated issues and dynamics that made the story thought-provoking. Jillian Quinn does an amazing job describing the sport scenes. It is obvious she is knowledgeable. I enjoyed the ending. It was clever and well-resolved. This is the first book that I read by Jillian Quinn. I enjoyed her writing style. The story was well laid out and entertaining throughout. I plan to continue following this series and am looking forward to the next book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I received an ARC for voluntary review for netgalley. Did not enjoy book, wished had not requested it. But once had, had to finish it, I am sure some people will enjoy it, I am a not one of them. I originally thought I would since it was in my hometown of Philadelphia. The book was of two young people Isabella Rinaldi and Luca Marchese and it is suppose to be a love story. Of course, again we have a manwhore, why do all authors insist on this, I do not get it. For some reason they think we woman like this, personally we do not, most self respecting woman do not. Isabella started off hating Luca, and wanting nothing to do with him, she should have stayed that way. I could not understand, why she allowed herself to actually get together with him, especially after catching him, with another girl!! What!!! Yeah, And supposedly she was supposed to be super smart, and we are supposed believe this, I don't think so, but then again, this is a Mafia story, so this is what I get.
