Wow this was such a heartfelt read that was emotional and broke my heart only to put it back together again. Ash was struggling with his life, he spent it trying to help others find their happy that he put his own happiness on the back burner then it imploded. Set off by a series of events he hits rock bottom and with no way to go but up he left behind his life and set out to find himself and to get help. Taylor has known Ash her whole being best friends with his sister and been in love with him too. She grew up in a very strict Catholic home, so she denied her feelings for Ash out of Catholic guilt and Ash has loved her for so long but thought she was out of his reach. So, when she ends up on his doorstep needing his help, he doesn’t hesitate to open his doors to her. Ash has built a great life for himself especially getting the help he needed and if it weren’t for Larry his mentor he would be lost. Larry is a fantastic character, he took everyone under his wing, offered sage advice, and was there to help no matter what. He came off as a grump, but he was amazing while suffering himself. I don’t want to give too much of the story away because there are a few twists and turns but I was so happy that Ash found his Redemption and got Taylor while in the process of healing. This was truly a beautiful heartfelt story.

I loved this book; it was a quick and easy read, but it kept me entertained the whole time. One second, I was laughing so hard then the next James had me swooning so hard. James and Carrie meet in a very unconventional way when he saves her in a casino in Vegas being groped by a guy and James steps in the save her. Once she is saved her and James spend time together doing a scavenger hunt through Vegas and James being the ultimate gentleman and attracted to Carrie decides to help her, but they end up with more than they bargain for after a fun crazy night. Carrie wakes up alone to find out she is married but she doesn’t even know James’ last name. In a turn of events they are reunited, and things heat up again even if Carrie fights it hard. These two are funny and amazing characters and James is determined to keep her even if Carrie doesn’t think it’s a good idea, but can their pasts come back to haunt them and end things before they even get started?

This was an interesting read because not only is it a romance book, but it shows us readers that you can fight for your passion and go out and accomplish it. Kacey is the only female driver in a male predominant sport, every day she must fight to prove that she is just as good as they are, and she belongs there. I felt bad for her at times because the men were plain rude and misogynistic pigs and she only just wanted liv out her passion. G is a master mechanic and even though at times him and Kacey could butt heads, but he has he own demons to fight and they both love racing. These two had the passion and chemistry in spades but could they overcome their own issues to fight for what they want or are they both too stubborn to see what is right in front of them? Great read and looking forward to more.

This book took me on such an emotional journey that had me pulling for Jules to find herself and backbone. She is almost like royalty in her town and her mother and father are master manipulators when it comes to getting what they want from her. She knows nothing except how to be polite, quiet, spoiled, and do as told so when she wants to do something for herself, she sets out on a journey to be more than just from money. I felt so bad for her because all she wanted was to be loved all her life instead of bought things and told who to be. Mick was this gentle giant that once he saw Jules knew he wanted her but never believed that someone like him, a carpenter, could be worthy of such a beauty like Jules. Certain circumstances and situations occur that bring them together and Mick becomes this force that protects, loves, and tells Jules how strong she is. Some manipulation from her parents and other situations occurring has Jules wanting to flee from the life she is use to and right into Mick’s arms but cant they have a future together when he thinks they are from two different worlds that he doesn’t fit in and will she stand up for herself and Mick to fight for what they have? Such a good read and you know it’s amazing when the author writes characters you not only love but want to reach through and punch, like her parents.

Holly Jolly despite her name despises Christmas and all the hopes, dreams, magic that go along with it. She was raised by parents with strict religious beliefs so no holidays especially Christmas were ever celebrated. Holly knows she has missed out on a lot, but it seems this particular holiday just has it out for her because every time she thinks about celebrating something horrible happens, so its better for her leave it alone. It’s weird because she is now known as a top pastry architect that masters in holidays creations and now, she is hired for one of the biggest jobs ever. She knows she has her work cut out for her but what she isn’t expecting is how much this hotel truly gets into the holiday spirit and her attraction to its manager, Saint Nicholsen. Saint never had a great childhood until he was older and found his forever home, but it took him a while to acclimate to his new family and their love. Yet once he did he knew that he would never take holiday magic, the love, and fun of it for granted so when his new pastry chef shows up and is a Grinch he knows he has to help her find her magic. These have such an intense chemistry it flows off the pages, but Holly doesn’t want to be let down again and Saint is determined to show her that she believes in the magic of them. I loved all the incidences Holly had because they had me laughing so hard and Saint was pure perfection that you could not help but love. IF you want a cute holiday read with laughs and teaching that Christmas can still have magic for everyone for many different reasons, I recommend this one.

Every time I step foot into Carmel Cove, I know I am in for a ride that will be beautiful and at times tragic, but I’ll always leave happy. Bennett and Cammie had a special relationship in high school where they were falling fast and hard, but not to be the reason Bennett forfeits some or all his dreams for hers, Cammie lets him go with the promise that they would meet again. Cammie experiences a devastating event that changes the course of her life and she knows she will never be the same, so she hides away in her own comfort zones just barely surviving day to day. Bennett knows as soon as he has his pub in order that it is time to stop waiting and go after his girl because even years later, she is still his forever girl, but Cammie doesn’t want him to see the broken pieces she hides. Slow and steady is Bennett’s pace when it comes to winning her back and it gives Cammie the time he needs to slowly gain her confidence back and learn to live again. I loved seeing how Cammie gained herself back and became stronger instead of continuing letting the past drag her down. I especially loved how Bennett never gave up on her, let her come to terms with things in her own time, how protective he was, but also allowing her to protect herself when she needed it. This was such a beautiful story of how to live again, letting love be there for you, how to stand for yourself even when others may want to squish your voice out, and letting that voice be heard. A truly beautiful story and I can not wait for Gwen’s story I feel like there is a lot there that will happen and come to light.

Eve believes in happily forever after while Miles believes that it’s better to be left alone. The both are attracted to each other but Eve wants more than Miles will promise to offer her so she tries hard to move on with her life but she can’t seem to truly let him go. Being a bitter person that never thinks love exists he wants to live life the way he wants and being able to leave whenever he wants but his attraction to Eve threatens his lifestyle. As they try to navigate their feelings, lives, and everything else events happen that tear them apart. Can they navigate this new thing brewing between them or will the past haunt them forever? I loved Miles he was such a good soul but had been hurt so bad before he didn’t think he would ever find his happy and Eve was perfection with a smile on her face, working hard, and always fighting for those she loves. I can’t wait for more!!!!

Chevy is a huge grumpy man but with all he has endured in his life it’s understandable as to why. He can’t stand to ask for help, he doesn’t want to get close to anyone until he fulfills his promise he made, and he just wants to steer clear of his new neighbor Gwen. Where Chevy is dark and broody Gwen is the light and beauty in the world. She would do anything for anyone, give anyone anything they ask for, and leaves the town of Carmel Cove a little better just by her presence. When Gwen and Chevy meet the first time it is the worst day of his life, and she sees his struggle and lends him her car. Never expecting to see him again he but he steps back in her life and doesn’t want anything to do with her. The back and forth of his attraction and guilt eat at him everyday and the only way to keep Gwen safe is to constantly push her away but she is relentless and determined to be there for him no matter how he treats her. Gwen never stops trying to be there for him and he constantly pushes her away, yet she is determined to not give up. I loved this book, seeing all the characters we love and I hope Gwen’s brother get their stories because they were amazing.

Dex Covington has been this intriguing strong silent type since we first met him, and Jo has done everything in her power to show him she is interested but he isn’t having it. Dex and Jo both have been through a lot in their lives, and it has been traumatizing and lasted with them through the years so when Jo seems to be on the right path to get her life back someone is messing with her. With the help of Dex can they work together to get Jo’s situation under control or is the tension between them too for Dex to handle? They have an intense chemistry but Dex’s past hinders him from pursuing anything with Jo so for now he is just helping her then plans to send her on her way, yet Jo doesn’t give up easy and Dex’s possessive side won’t let her get too far. This series is always an adrenaline ride with amazing characters that keep you glued in until the very end. With so many twists and turns can they get things sorted or will they let fear deter what could be? I can’t wait for more!!

I read SIncerely, Dane by Ilsa Madden Mills and this short story was such a sweet read.

This is a cute and fun novella that is part of anthology and I hope will eventually be a full length story. Dane and Piper went to school together from high school on and now that Dane’s twin bother is married to Piper’s best friend they end up spending a lot of time together. Piper has always crushed on Dane but believes he has her firmly placed in the friend zone that she just accepts their relationship as is until one night a text makes her think about more. Dane hasn’t had it easy in life, he derailed at one point, and his relationship with Ari fizzled out because deep down I truly believe he’s always felt like Piper was his. In this story Dane comes to Piper’s apartment dressed as a werewolves and so the chaos ensues. He recruits her to help with a scavenger hunt that ends with an epic ending/beginning. The tension between them was tangible, the chemistry off the charts, and the can they will they flowed off the pages. I rally hope we get more of their story!!

Roman Knight, ex FBI profiler now a guardian to his niece, who is trying to keep his head above water, struggles with emotions, is now in need of a nanny. Stevie is hired to help Roman take care of his niece and she tries so hard to keep her attraction professional, but sometimes fate steps in and changes things for us. With secrets and pasts that haunt them they both help each other heal, yet Stevie’s past is one she intends to keep locked away forever, except now her past is out to get her. Can Roman help Stevie and can her trust or will it all fly away when the truth comes to light? This was amazing, suspenseful, tragic, yet beautiful. Roman was a tough guy but when we got to see underneath that exterior, he was the perfect man. Stevie was kind, smart, and had a heart of gold that was willing to do whatever it took to make others smile and together these two just fit. I can’t wait to see what is next.

Looking for a sweet, off the charts steamy, holiday read that will keep you up past your bedtime falling in love with a small town and hot hero? This read checks all those boxes and more. The emotions in the characters are so real and I could completely relate to Violet and her struggles with panic attacks, but what really broke my heart was Jamie and his selfless sacrifices he made in life helping raise his siblings. Violet may come from money, but she is the most down to earth person ever and the connection her and Jamie share is so beautiful. Jamie’s family is absolutely the best while being meddlesome, they only want each other happy, and they had me laughing so much throughout. Violet feels at home with not just Jamie but also his family and when her time is up, she doesn’t want to leave, but can Jamie pull her away from her duty to family? In this cute read you get all the emotions, fun, and holiday feel good.

When Georgia decides it’s time to get her life back after having a scary moment and putting everything on hold, a road trip with her best friend is a great place to start. The day comes for them to start their adventure but it’s not her friend in the driver’s seat, it’s none other than the guy she has crushed and hated for a long time, Rex, her best friend’s brother. With great reluctance Georgia decides to take this trip with Rex, she is determined to make the best of it while doing everything she can to ignore him and her feelings that still linger. The more time these two spend together Georgia sees that Rex isn’t a bad guy but the past still hurts and Rex can’t stop his growing attraction that has always been there for her. Will Georgia open herself to what could be or will the misunderstanding in the past keep her from ever letting go? Can Rex prove to her he’s here for the long haul and worthy of loving her or are they doomed from the start? This read was fun, sweet, and hot.

This book took a bit to get going. I loved the story, loved the characters, and loved the romance. But the first half of the book was bogged down in descriptions and wordiness that almost caused me to stop reading. But once the action started it kept up through the end. I look forward to getting to know the other brothers in the rest of the series.

First of all, this story is already written probably three or more times by either different authors, or same using different aliases, and all published at Femdom Cave. Main difference is the character names. But this version is far weaker than the other versions. Here the characterization and buildup is handled very poorly. And what's more irritating, the author claimed that this is a real story, rather than a fiction. When we're reading a fiction we are usually greatly accepting for even the most evil characters. In real life we desire the evil people to get punished. This is how it is. Hence, this book is also greatly irritating to read.

First of all, this story is already written probably three or more times by either different authors, or same using different aliases, and all published at Femdom Cave. Main difference is the character names. But this version is far weaker than the other versions. Here the characterization and buildup is handled very poorly. And what's more irritating, the author claimed that this is a real story, rather than a fiction. When we're reading a fiction we are usually greatly accepting for even the most evil characters. In real life we desire the evil people to get punished. This is how it is. Hence, this book is also greatly irritating to read.

The story is written pretty well using slow buildup, good characterization of main characters, and several good Femdom scenes. I will highly recommend this to anyone interested in Femdom-Cuckold stories.

Dark Eyes - Karina Halle - 3 Stars - Amethyst, Wolf, Shannon, Ezra - It was nice to see a PNR twist in the middle of all the contemporary stories in this anthology. This was an interesting examination of who the real monsters are. This world shows me more and more of that every day.

F*ck - Tijan - 3 Stars - Tysan Koda, Kase Crow, Aiden - Why did I find this story so hot. At first, I was disenchanted by the thought of another jerk hero but that somehow melted away.

The Dress - Colleen Hoover - 3 Stars - Can’t Remember the Names - A woman chooses herself over a superficial man. It was okay. I think I am fatigued from all of these stories.

This author is becoming one of my favorites. I can always count on her to bring me something fresh and fun. There is always a dash of humor, snark, a splash of angst, amazing characters, and the perfect balance of steam.

I found myself smiling as I read this book which is important to note because it shows that this author created a book that I connected with. It felt real and it felt like it was a movie. Loving this series based loosely off songs.

Normally, this author sucks me in within the first couple of chapters. However, this one found me struggling to stay interested in. I never fully committed to Bran and Dani which is sad because I should have. It just was missing something for me. Even the storyline was a struggle for me to connect with.

I'm a huge fan of this author but this book was not it for me.
