I don't think I've ever regretted buying a book, unlike some CDs, DVDs, almost every other commodity. The books I own are either my favourites, or ones I thought I might read one day. Many were bought second hand or in a booksale, so would not be here if they had been full price. They know who they are. Missing favourites either were borrowed from others and returned, or have worn out. These I am slowly replacing as I remember or find an affordable copy.
