Whatever takes my fancy and whatever I need to learn about. I harbour an abiding and inflexible prejudice against books titled "The Someone's/thing's Wife/Mistress/Daughter". Is this the main character? Why can't the wife/daughter/mistress have an identity without the "someone"? I am aware of how this opinion seems to conflict with how I've identified myself above...

Wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, geographer, public servant, feminist. So conflicted about my kindle and my paper books...
