I enjoy a wide variety of both fiction and non-fiction works. Legal thrillers are a particular favorite and John Grisham is a favorite. I love David Baldacci, but have in the last few years fallen for young adult authors like Stephanie Meyers. I've read most of the classics, but I'm not opposed to a good old romance novel, either.

I am a southern woman with a flair for writing and a law degree. I've been reading since I was four years old and I'm rarely seen without a book in my hand. I've been married to the same man twice for a total of 15 years and we have a son (22) who is the light of our lives. I was 50 when I began writing fiction, and my first book, "Illuminating Gracie," was published in June of this year (2013). Though practicing law was challenging, I would far prefer to spend my days pouring out my heart onto paper and sharing it with the world.
