These are two of my favourite quotes and like John Lubbock says, the books I've read have taken me all over the world. My library (once I get it all catalogued) is comprised of many different streams - mostly fiction, some non-fiction (mostly to do with horses, my other passion), some poetry and short stories.

About my ratings...if a book is rated, then I've read it. I rarely don't finish a book, but if that's the case, then I'll give it a very low rating. If there is no rating, then it's on my "to read" list. I've tagged some books "borrowed" to keep track of what is actually on my shelf and what I've actually read.

On my quest to conquer the world, one fish at a time, a strong current swept me off to foreign and exotic lands. Back in Vancouver now, I'm navigating the swift currents of the seas of environmental consulting in the good ol' West Coast!
