Hope everyone from Joplin is doing okay! Let us know if you need anything (like books)!

Speaking of Joplin, looks like we're on again this year! Changing Hands Book Shoppe, 528 South Virginia Avenue, Joplin MO at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29!

Be there or be square!

Terri, should we post a meet-up thread over in the 75 group?

I thought Stasia was going to do it, but I could have just dreamed that. I just put it here because the 75 group gets overwhelming sometimes, and I didn't want to miss any Missouri folk!

I tried keeping up with the 75 group for about two days and gave up when my watch list kept scrolling off the screen. Maybe in January I'll start a list over there, but there's no way I can read my books and read all the comments on that forum at the same time.

>8 mldavis2:: I came up with the perfect solution, Mike. I cut back on my sleep! I am of "the age" when one is supposed to be getting less sleep anyway. ;-)

Here is Stasia's thread.

#9 Donna828 > Yes, I'm finding I seem to need less sleep at night, but it's far too easy to doze off if I get too comfortable while reading during the afternoon. I try to avoid naps so I don't wake up too early now but it doesn't help all that much. I dropped off the 75 forum, at least while I'm away from home for a few more days. Maybe I'll pick it back up when I return. I post so many of my books on other threads that it seems a bit redundant to duplicate the list on 75, and I read well over 100 a year now that I'm retired.

I find that the more time I spend on the 75 group, the less time I have to read! Nothing personal, but given a choice.....
