What is your first impression of the book and the author's writing style?

I like his writing style but he is a little crude but as I have mentioned in the chat that we have read books like this before.

All good! If the storyline maintains its initial impetus, this author may become one of my regulars, :)

I really like it. Good variety of characters and plenty of action.

I like the style and pace. The author has created a number of intriguing characters-can't wait to read more.

It is a very easy reading style with plenty of dialogue which is what I like to see in books, especially crime novels. Look forward to reading on.

I like his style, very easy to read, good descriptions. >2 EadieB: I would have said the same thing except that I just finished Gone Girl on Thursday so I've had lots of crude and rude over the past 2 weeks of listening to that (couldn't even put it on in the background at work!)
