3,487 copies of 105 titles this month, including Upright Women Wanted by Sarah Gailey!

Have at 'em!

Upright Women Wanted! I fell for it the minute I saw the tagline: "Are you a coward or are you a librarian?" The ER copy isn't available to me, but I have a hold on it at my library.

I already preordered that one, so I'll pass on the ER copy for someone else. Queer librarians fighting fascism? Total catnip.

Upright Women Wanted looks like good, old-timey fun; but it's only available in ER as an audiobook, a format that's overly challenging for me. I'll have to watch for its release to try requesting a public library copy.

Fairy Mom and Me #3: Fairy Unicorn Wishes looks like a relatable read for me and mine. That's only available to members in Canada. Alas, I am not. (Happy reading, Canadians.)

One Earth: People of Color Protecting Our Planet could be a good addition to a nearby public library. I'm hoping that even if I'm not awarded a copy, that book reviews well.

Agree, it sounds interesting, but I don't do audiobooks.

However, there are a couple of interest this month. I'm always excited to see a new book by Sara Paretsky, and Say I'm Dead: A Family Memoir of Race, Secrets, and Love fits right into some current reading (Ronne Hartfield's Another Way Home: The Tangled Roots of Race in One Chicago Family .

This is one of those lots that makes me annoyed that I'm country restricted a bunch of the time. Put in for a couple scary youth books. We'll see what happens.
