A romance book about soulmates/reincarnation with an immortal male lead

The man would always find her after she reincarnates by ”her gold”, which sometimes could be literal gold or other times her hair color. As the title says he is immortal and i’m farily certain this is a pretty old book. I don’t remember much more though. Not sure if they’re soulmates either? But I’m pretty sure they were connected in some way.

Did she work at like a fondue restaurant at the beginning and was Asian American? I've been trying to find a similar book
