I read this book about 2-5 years ago. and i have been looking for it on my own for about a year. Its a paranormal romance i think. Its is set in modern time i believe. This woman and her girlfriend (i guess) went up to a cabin. I think their relationship was not good and the girlfriend was trying to rekindle the relationship. She was abusive in a way i think or controlling of the main girl and she was jealous that the woman was bisexual and had relationships with men in the past.
Anyway i think the woman was coming back up the mountain when she hit the guy in his wolf form. Overtime they began to get close and they slept together and i think the girl compared him to her girlfriend (or maybe ex at this point) not having enough power in her hips during sex as compared to a man.
Eventually the girlfriend found out and tried to kill either the wolf guy or the woman but he either killed her or through her off a cilff. the woman still accepted him in the end and i think it ended there. During the book the guy mentioned not knowing exactly what he was I think he grew up alone and their was something special about the woman as well. She was either a artist or a writer (i think i am not to sure on that one.)
There is a second book to it and i think it hinted at answering the question of what she is and who or where the rest of his kind/pack are.
