Two teens hookup and someone is murdered

This is a book I read in high school and I could never find it again. 2 teens use their friends apartment to hookup during school or something and then someone is murdered (maybe friends boyfriend came back to apartment and caught them) and they possibly go on the run. Don't know if I'm even remembering it correctly.
