I joined this group, and the one that includes alternate histories and parallel universes. Not many posts... so I'll start a topic!

When would YOU travel to, and why?

I'll start - I would travel to 1915 or so... The place would be my home town. I would want to see what the area looked like and see our old neighbor when he was a very young man.

I have other times and places in mind, but thought I would start with this one.

If it was possible for me to time Travel the very first place I would go to would be The JFK International Airport on February 7, 1964 so I could actually see THE BEATLES arrive and get off of the Airplane. Then I would go to their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show on Febuary 9, 1964 followed by the Washington Coliseum in Washinton, D.C on February 11, 1964. Of course I would eventually Time Travel to San Francisco in 1967 to be part of The Summer of Love and then later on go to Upstate New York for the 1969 WoodStock Concert. Eventually I would get around to Time Travelling to see the Ancient Egyptians build the Pyramids, the Ancient Mayans and Incas, the Dinosaurs plus the very far future and everything in between too. Plus of course all of the great historical events you only read about in books or see on the DiscoveryChannel or the History Channel. Since I am a fan of THE BEATLES it makes sense to me to make them the very first stop in my Time Travels.

And then back again to The Ed Sullivan Show three more times to see THE BEATLES since they were on his show a total of four times. Of course I would also Time Travel to Candlestick Park in San Francisco on August 29, 1966 to see THE BEATLES perform their last Live U.S. Concert and also to January 30, 1969 in London when they performed a Rooftop Concert on the Apple Records Studio Roof for 42 minutes before the Police was called in to chase them away and remove them because of the complaints.

In between all of THE BEATLES and other Rock Concerts I would also go to some great Sporting Events in History and also Movie Premieres too like Gone With The Wind and The Wizard Of Oz for example.

I would love to travel to early 1900s Russia. I think it would be highly interesting to see a country on the brink of a revolution
