Aven Ellis is one of my favorite authors and every time she has a new book out, I get really excited because it's a sure thing -I just know I'm going to love it. Her characters are usually sweet and quirky and very real. This is the case with Jack Chelten, for example. Jack is a totally normal guy and I love that. Of course he is a good guy so he is sweet and thoughtful but he is not the far-fetched kind of hero that we see at times in romance novels. Bree is also your average girl and their story could be anybody's story. If you like down to earth romance, you will love Surviving The Rachel or any of Aven Ellis's books for that matter because you really can't go wrong with her.
