I was shocked with the deaths of Sarah and Jago...and I'm wishing for a more gruesome death of the kepler but I like it overall ( ) This was probably the most disappointing final book in a series that I have read in quite some time. Though, not terrible, the story here just fell really flat. The characters seemed to take a hard turn away from how they were in the previous books without any solid reason. The writing/story seemed really jerky and several of the events (deaths in particular) seemed to happen suddenly and weren't done well. I also really disliked An's chapters because of the style choices (the whole blink/shiver thing) Abbadon was the most interesting thing about this book, even though we only get to see a tiny tiny glimpse of how it ends up affecting the world. The ending itself was interesting too, but overall it was pretty lackluster and seemed more of a copout where particular characters were concerned.
