The writing/story seemed really jerky and several of the events (deaths in particular) seemed to happen suddenly and weren't done well. I also really disliked An's chapters because of the style choices (the whole blink/shiver thing) Abbadon was the most interesting thing about this book, even though we only get to see a tiny tiny glimpse of how it ends up affecting the world. The ending itself was interesting too, but overall it was pretty lackluster and seemed more of a copout where particular characters were concerned.
