This book was fabulous. I had to remind myself to breathe. The author again scores a home run with characters that feel so real. Their personalities remind me of some of the "friends" in my life. I felt every emotion Riley went through. Her rough life felt a little close to home which is why I think I felt it so hard. If you haven't read it, what are you waiting for? Do it! ( )

I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked up this book, but I fell in love almost immediately! The author had an amazing way of pulling you in and keeping you hooked page by page. There is suspense, mystery, love, and family dynamics. The amount of intrigue portrayed took me to another world. You felt connected to each character and the main characters had me from the word go. This author presented a beautifully written story. From the time I picked it up, I didn't want to put it down. The author was visually on target and added in small important details throughout that brought you to the end. When you get toward the ends you can immediately put all the pieces together and you will discover a well told story with adventure, excitement and love. This book is the first one in a series and I'll be honest, it has become one of my favorite series I've come across in a very very long time. If you like romantic suspense then you will absolutely love this book and series. Kudos to the author who blew me out of the water. ( )
