Welcome to the group.

How are you finding March? I was initially reluctant to read this book after hearing a TV Book show panel's discussion on it. But as I had enjoyed the author's previous book, Year of Wonders, I thought I'd give it a try. Plus Geraldine Brooks is an Aussie (like me) married to an American.

I'm glad I ignored the experts' opinions - because I enjoyed the book.

What are you planning to tackle next?

I loved March, and the Age of Innocence--both read this year. I also loved Beloved each of the three times I've read it; but I haven't read it since college (five years ago) so I don't know if I still love it. Loved the Shipping News in college as well. I was only partly in to The Hours, but I think I needed to reread Mrs Dalloway before I read it. So maybe I'll try that again.

Great lists!
