Although I love to run, I recently started skipping rope because I neither had a place to run nor the time. And boy, I am loving it!
Skipping rope is right at the top in the list of most calorie burning activities. The best thing about it is that it needs the least amount of investment: time or money, to provide the same benefits as other exercises. Also, it is easier on the joints and ligaments than running.
Thanks to this book I came to know the reason why I always kept stumbling while skipping using my current rope. Turns out it is a few inches shorter than it must be for my height.

Never have I loved working out so much in my life.

This is the first time I'll be trying out a workout regimen, thanks to this book recommended to me by a close friend. To think of getting a ripped, jacked, beefed-up body in just seven weeks is crazy, don't you think? Well I'll just have to go on and try it out.

The book provides comprehensive info about the basics, the dos-and-don'ts, the diet, and the details of every exercise. The plan is really good; there's ample time to rest, alternate day workout doesn't feel too demanding, and the weekend break is a godsend. I try to manage my diet too.

After just a week of working out, I could see the difference. It will get tougher, and I will also get tougher.

Although I am not a native English speaker, this book was easy to follow. Finally I have found a book that is very logical and clear. What I really love about this book is that I discovered that breakfast can be more than just a few boiled eggs (which I have been used to eating for the last 2 years). Now I have a number of alternative, quick breakfasts. The structured meal plan makes the paleo diet easier to follow as it means I don't have to question is something Paleo or not. Lots of good recipe examples.

The exercises are a breath of fresh air, and are lots of fun. Simple movement can be so functional. It gives you ideas of how you can work out at home, without lots of equipment or lots of space and make it an amazing workout. You don't need a gym at home, you can go outside.

Reading about Darryl's story felt very similar to my situation, sitting all day in the office, lots of stress, not enough time to have proper lunch. It makes me realise I can succeed too, and it is worth trying to make healthier choices.

A great book covering natural movement, paleo fitness principles with a playful aspect. A great 12 week programme, meal plan and concepts written in a simple way for maximum engagement. I love it!
