New member? Welcome!
I'd like to read The Secret History, Solaris, and especially The Haunting of Hill House which I've had on my must-buy list for more than a year now but somehow never get around to acquiring. I have a weird relationship with 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, in that is is the one novel I cannot clearly remember whether I've read or not. A sore point, since knowing is something I pride myself on.

oooh, i love your list ^_^ specially your first 3 in the fiction list, and The Aosawa Murders. would be interesting to hear your thoughts on those!
My sister, the serial killer was a 5 star read for me. A definite re-read in the future!
happy reading! :)
>2 Cecrow: i had the same thoughts about 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea...it feels like i've read it at least once before.....but i'm not quite sure :p good book tho...maybe i should just read it sometime soon and end the inner debate :D

Chiming in on 20,000 Leagues. I know I read it but only because it was a couple of years ago. It wasn’t my favorite of Verne’s but enjoyable still the same.
I’ve had The Aosawa Murders on my wishlist for a while now so am definitely interested to see what you think.
Good luck!

I made it!!! Finished (20000 leagues under the seas) some moments ago. After nearly eight weeks & a major struggle to push though it. Phew!
>2 Cecrow: >3 riida: >4 LittleTaiko: There are some books I had the same feelings toward in the past but THIS - It is very likely I'll forget the contents pretty fast.
But the effort it took me to make my way through it is not going to let me forget I read that one.
(I hope so... ;) )

>7 Yuki-Onna: amazing! 8 weeks actually sounds fast to me ^_^ i think next year i'll try to read at least one of these kinds of books...challenging, dense, or thick tomes that you can use for self-defense.

Forgot to update that I finished The Devil She Drew by Nate Ferreira on December 4.
Powered through it in two days - wanted to get past it as fast as possible (well, didn't like it 😬)...
