I don’t do the nature walks that I used to do but I have an interest in wildlife and this book certainly supplies all the information that I would need to pinpoint an animals track and assist in identifying the species. The author has covered all types of mammals, along with the commonly found birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates found in the Pacific Northwest. It would be a valuable tool for any nature lover and it’s simple clarity would appeal to all age groups.
I spend some enjoyable time examining this book and the excellent photographs. There is a lot of information on offer here including habitat, reproductive cycles, and food sources that would help anyone from amateur nature lovers to the more skilled enthusiasts learn more about the natural environment.
