Red Side Story - February 6th 2024

Jasper Fforde has recently announced the very long awaited sequel to Shades of Grey titled "Red Side Story".

I remember he mentioned working on SoG2 back in 2021 and that he had planned to do another Thursday Next, probably a final one, after what's now called 'Red Side Story'.

I had to revive this group I'm so excited, especially at the thought of possibly reading another Thursday Next novel.

Great news! Plenty of time to do a reread to remember what the heck happened in the retroactively unfortunately-titled Shades of Grey.

>2 lorax: I'm definitely going to re-read Shades of Grey to refresh my memory. I remember initially wanting more backstory on how the world came to be as it is in part 1. Hopefully the sequel will have some more to add as I'm not entirely sure if a prequel is even considered anymore by Fforde.

I'm going to conclude this post by willing Dark Reading Matter into eventual existence by mentioning it in brackets here.
